Stan Urban and Sir Tom Jones’ Fiery Performance

79-year-old rock ‘n’ roll pianist Stan Urban joined forces with the legendary Sir Tom Jones, 83, on The Voice UK for a spontaneous rendition of Jerry Lee Lewis’s “Great Balls of Fire.” Their energetic performance had the audience on their feet, clapping and cheering along.

Stan Urban’s Audition

Urban, hailing from Dundee, Scotland, impressed during his blind audition with Chuck Berry’s “Little Queenie.” His dynamic piano playing and robust baritone voice caught the attention of judge Olly Murs, who turned his chair in support.

Audience and Judges’ Reaction

The judges and audience were visibly delighted by Urban’s performance, with many urging the other judges to turn their chairs. Despite the enthusiastic response, Murs was the only judge to turn, securing Urban for his team.
